On the boat to Shala River, the number of guests is on average between 15 and 25 passengers, depending on reservations. Nord West Cruise ensures a calm and comfortable experience with controlled capacity, guaranteed seating, and a relaxed atmosphere.
Yes. Upon arrival at Shala River, guests have free time to swim, relax, have lunch, or explore the area at their own pace. Optional activities such as kayaking and zipline may be available on site and can be arranged locally, depending on availability. Please make sure to be back at the meeting point on time to follow the scheduled return itinerary.
Our boat, along with other boats operating on the route, usually departs from Shala River at 14:20 to return toward Koman Port. If you wish to stay in Shala River for 1 or 2 nights, please inform the captain in advance or contact us by email, attaching your ticket, so we can make the necessary arrangements.
Please arrive at the port at least 15 minutes before departure to allow time for check-in and boarding.

With Nord West Cruise, you can cancel your tour up to 24 hours in advance for a 100% refund (full refund) of the ticket price.

  • For a 100% refund of the ticket price, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s local start time. Bank and payment processing fees (around 4–6% of the total amount) charged by your bank or payment provider are non-refundable.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, or if you do not show up at the meeting point or port for the minibus and/or boat, no refund (0%) will be issued and the amount
    you paid to Nord West Cruise will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
    Cut-off times are based on the local time in Albania.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it is cancelled due to poor weather or unsafe lake conditions, you will be offered a different date/route or a full refund of the ticket price.
  • This experience may require a minimum number of travelers. If it is cancelled because the minimum is not met, you will be offered a different date/experience or a full refund of the ticket price.
